There were 5 “Mystery” red wines to taste, each with its own distinctive grape. Of course the winemaking process greatly influence wine’s color and flavour and yet in this event we challenged our ability to guess the starting point of every wine: the grape. Thanks to the sponsor Casale Del Giglio, we were also able to award 12 Wine Tasting Box with 6 high-end wines including the famous Mater Matuta. The results? It is extremely difficult to guess red grapes and yet we had many 5 out of 5 from Luiss Alumni, a few from Oxford Alumni, many 3 out of 5, and 3 consolation prizes for a total of 12 high-end wine Tasting Boxes awarded. (roughly valued at 300eur each)
