Our country Champion in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Naida Dervishalidovic was selected as a finalist for “Bosnia and Herzegovina-British Embassy Fellowship Programme” which took place in London from 28th February to 19th March 2016.

The Fellowship Programme is a three-week intensive course, which is run for the Foreign Commonwealth Office and the British Embassy by Queen Mary University and is designed to provide fellows with insights into how the UK develops and implements effective policy within a devolved system of government. Alongside all-day classroom-based lectures from leading experts, there are study trips, from local government to the House of Lords and the BBC.

The Fellowship is also about building relationships. The aim is to create a powerful network of people with the potential to pool their diverse backgrounds and expertise for the benefit of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Naida is now a member of the Programme’s Alumni and has used this opportunity to promote Oxford Education Society within that network.
